Hello Friends,
Navigating mental health is hard, and yet it is not talked about nearly enough in our world today. Every single person has mental health, and yet we are still led to believe it is “taboo” to talk about. Well, not here. Here, we talk about mental health all the time! So here are 5 reminders to help you remember that you got this! Leave a comment after you finish reading, to let me know which was your favourite, or share any of your own reminders!
1. Everyone’s Mental Health Journey is Unique. Your definition of good mental health may look different from someone else’s, and that’s perfectly okay. If you are feeling good, that is more important than how it looks or compares to someone else.
2. You Are Allowed to Have Bad Days—Having a bad day doesn’t mean you are moving backward; it simply means you are human. It is okay, not to be okay. Show yourself grace; you are doing your best. The sun will come out from the clouds eventually!

3. A Bad Day is Simply a Bad Day – Don’t allow a bad day to become a bad week, month or year. Each morning, you are given a fresh start and a new opportunity for a great day. Don’t let yesterday’s clouds block today or tomorrow’s sunshine.
4. You Are Strong – It’s easy to feel like you are weak when you are struggling. The truth is, you are even stronger when you are struggling because you are fighting! Even if you are simply surviving, that is enough!
5. Everyone is Scared – Fear is a universal experience. Everyone on this planet (whether they admit it or not) gets nervous and scared. It is 100% normal and nothing to be ashamed of. Your fear does not need to define or control you. You are stronger than your fear. Read more about conquering fear here!
