Official No Stress Summer Rewind

Hi Friends,

It is so wild that summer has already almost come to an end (technically, the season of summer doesn’t end until September 22nd however, I still think of September 1st as marking the end of summer. Something that no doubt came from school days and has stuck with me even though I haven’t been in full-time school for 3 years now.) This is my final blog post of my summer 2025 series, and I just wanted to say once again thank you to everyone who read and followed along. I loved the segments I got to do and am truly so grateful for all of the support I received during No Stress Summer.

Okay, enough mushy gushy, let’s get to the main event! The OFFICIAL (official) 2025 (2025) NO STRESS SUMMER (no stress summer) RANKING (ranking…ranking…ranking, just imagine the stuff in brackets is an echo, okay please). I thought that would be cool, but maybe it was cooler in my head lol. Anyway, I will be giving each no-stress summer challenge a ranking on a scale from 1 (did not relieve any stress at all) to 10 (blown my stress away with the wind), and then I will put them for your reference, from most stress-relieving. Okay, you get the gist. Now let’s get to it.

Week 1 was Waking up at 6 am. This one was the most surprising of all of the challenges for me in terms of stress relief levels. It is also the one I have been most committed to up-keeping. 7/10

Week 2 was Cold Showers. This was not my favourite of the challenges. If I am being honest, I frankly only made it through the week doing this challenge because we had a crazy heatwave. Just thinking of doing it now gives me shivers lol. 5/10

Week 3 was Gua Sha. I was a big fan of this one once I got the hang of it. Unfortunately, I still haven’t gotten a new gua sha since I shattered mine, so needless to say, I haven’t kept up with it. 6.5/10

Week 4 was the Closing Shift. This one is a game-changer! I slacked on it for a while, but we are back at it, and I am a big fan. It is definitely one of the ones with the quickest results. 8/10

Week 5 was Monotasking. No questions asked, my least favourite of the challenges. It’s hard to judge just from one week, but I haven’t gone back to it at all. 3/10

Week 6 was Daily Dance Parties. Spoiler alert, my favourite of the bunch. Stress relief and emotional regulation, anytime, anywhere…count me in! Lost half a point because it is a little weird at first. 9.5/10

Week 7 was Affirmations. Another great one. Self-love meets stress relief in a quick, easy and adaptable activity! Once again, count me in! 7.5/10

The Official No One Listens to Laura Ranking

  1. Daily Dance Parties – 9.5/10
  2. Closing Shift – 8/10
  3. Affirmations 7.5/10
  4. Waking Up at 6 am 7/10
  5. Gua Sha 6.5/10
  6. Cold Showers 5/10
  7. Monotasking 3/10

Thank you again for all of your support! Lots of exciting things are coming, so make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss a thing!

Until Tomorrow, My Friends,

P.S. I’m proud of you 😉
