The Ripple of hope Movement

Laura Masters, mental health advocate and founder of Ripple of Hope Movement. Turning personal struggle into purpose to remind others: you are seen, and you matter.

What Is The Ripple of Hope Movement?

September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Around the world, suicide is the second leading cause of death for people aged 15-29. These numbers are not just statistics; they’re real lives, families, and futures.

The Ripple of Hope Movement was created to spark change and start conversations. Our goal is simple: inspire 12 random acts of kindness throughout the month of September. Acts that create hope, uplift others, and remind people they are not alone.

Together we can Start a ripple and Create a change

✨ Movement Goals

  1. Raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health.
  2. Create a ripple of hope that will hopefully reach people who are struggling.
  3. Remind people that you genuinely never know what someone is going through, so you should always be kind.
  4. Get 1,000 people to complete 12 random acts of kindness in the month of September.
  5. Make the suicide prevention conversation more approachable.

#30Days30ReasonstoStay

During hard times it can be hard to remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel. So, in September I am sharing 30 reasons to stay – one every single day. And I want you to share one too. Print the Reason to Stay template, write something that keeps you going during hard times, take a photo or video, share it on social media using #30Days30Reasonstostay and tag @noonelistenstolaura to raise awareness and for a chance to be featured. Your reason might be the one someone else needs to hear. Together we can create a ripple and remind each other there is always hope.
